The Charging System was pre-fabricated for installation in a tight compartment
Each component is selected by current and voltage and then pre-assembled on a G-10 board cut to fit. Note the two negative busses - one for charging sources and one for everything else. The Black Master Enable Negative Switch can thereby shut off the entire electrical system.

The Victron Touchscreen displays information on the Wakespeed Alternator Regulator, Shorepower Chargers, Solar Charge Controllers, and Batteries in one easy to view, easy to access place at the Navigation Station
Wakespeed Regulator
The Wakespeed Regulator upgrades the charging system to three stage charging. When Vessels leave the dock with a full battery, it's much better for the battery to be on a float charge. The Wakespeed determines the battery is full, and floats the batteries on voyages to the islands and beyond. This extends the life of the battery and keeps battery capacity high throughout the life of the battery. The Wakespeed Regulator is mounted in a waterproof enclosure for maximum protection from the elements.
Victron Cerbo
The Victron Cerbo Networks all of the Victron Charging System, the Battery Monitor and the Wakespeed Regulator for display on the Victron Touch Screen. The Cerbo is mounted in a waterproof enclosure for maximum protection from the elements.
